Projects

Below is a selection of projects I managed during my time as a Social Media Manager that include community engagement. I believe creating clean and beautiful content is important, but engaging with your community is equally impactful. Each project includes a description of what event was created as well as my goals in doing so. Listed as well will be analytics on how these events increased engagement on client’s pages and enhanced brand awareness among our local community. These projects demonstrate the importance of understanding your audience and finding unique ways to engage them that also drive measured success.

  • To support local businesses during the Christmas season, I spearheaded a collaborative marketing campaign involving ten businesses in the Downtown Buford area for my client, Peach State Realty.

I conceptualized and executed a Christmas Giveaway, coordinating with participating businesses to secure contributions and curated a gift basket valued at over $350. I then developed a targeted social media campaign to promote the giveaway, highlighting both the local businesses and Peach State Realty.

The campaign achieved impressive results, including a 56% increase in social media engagement (Instagram and Facebook) within 24 hours, a 416% rise in accounts reached over five days, and a 12% growth in followers for Peach State Realty. This initiative not only drove business to local partners but also significantly expanded Peach State Realty’s digital presence.

  • For Thanksgiving, I planned and executed a client appreciation campaign for Peach State Realty, organizing a Pie Giveaway in collaboration with my client. The event served over 130 former and current clients, as well as our agents. While free to attend, participants were encouraged to donate to the “Santa’s Shop Toy Drive,” resulting in the collection of toys for the North Gwinnett Co-Op.

This campaign not only strengthened client relationships but also inspired the adoption of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. This improvement streamlined client organization and boosted customer outreach by approximately 30%.

  • Before my involvement with Peach State Realty, the company faced challenges with realtors promoting luxury, custom-built homes on social media without crediting the builders or listing agents. These unauthorized posts generated traffic that bypassed proper channels and failed to contribute to sales.

To address this issue, I developed a comprehensive "Letter of Agreement" at my client’s request. Now, any realtor wishing to tour and feature these homes on social media must go through me and sign the agreement before gaining access.

The agreement includes key provisions, such as requiring proper credit for the listing agent and ensuring all individuals entering the home are listed and approved for insurance purposes.

This document has streamlined the screening and approval process for prospective tours, safeguarding million-dollar properties while ensuring that traffic is directed through the appropriate channels to maximize the potential for sales.
